Question, how do you approach a 7 string when coming from a 6 string? I've had a 7 string for some years, and every time I play it my mind kind of automatically treats it like a 6 string and I either ignore the top or the bottom string. Probably not the best way to mentally conceptualize the instrument.
Yeah it’s a bit tricky at first to get the hang of using your right hand palm meat and left hand thumb to mute the low B string when it’s not being played. Similar to playing a six string but with an added string, I guess. When I started playing my first 7 string I wrote a bunch of riffs that incorporated all the strings that forced me to get the hang of it. And I switch between playing a 6 stringer and a 7 stringer a lot so neither ever feel foreign.
Sounds great, even just over the phone audio.

those pickups sounds great! Makes me feel like I need to start doing my projects instead of thinking about how hard they'll be 👍
Very nice!!
